Enjoy the beautiful softness of fine New Zealand Merino wool combined with the natural lustre of Mulberry silk.
This luxurious Ashford fibre contains 80% New Zealand Merino wool and 20% Mulberry silk. The fine approximately 22-micron Merino provides softness and warmth, while the silk adds strength, smoothness and a beautiful sheen.
The blended colours create lovely variations throughout the fibre, making each pack especially appealing for spinning and fibre-art projects. Spin it into fine, lightweight yarn for knitting, or create distinctive semi-worsted yarn for weaving.
It is also suitable for wet felting, Nuno felting, fibre blending and adding soft, lustrous surface details to 2D wool paintings and needle-felted creations.
