Add a touch of luxury and beautiful natural sheen to your fibre-art projects with this soft Mulberry Silk Sliver. The long, smooth silk fibres are strong, lustrous and easy to blend with wool and other fibres. Use small wisps as surface embellishment in wet felting, Nuno felting and 2D wool painting, or blend them into fibre for spinning to create your own distinctive yarn. They can also add lovely texture and shine to weaving projects. Please note that silk does not felt firmly by itself. For wet-felted projects, it is best used together with wool so the wool fibres can hold the silk securely in place.
